Clear water, clear as day

Part cloud, clouds parted

No overcast.

No forecast.

No foretelling.

My pupils dim clearly now.

Water rolls white closer to me.

Water greens with every stroke away

for I cannot swim.

I see no danger,

only envy with baby blue.

I feel a stranger

in these ancestral lands

constantly in motion

shaking the fleas away.

The wind blows incessantly.

The water, a siren unto me,

a calling and a setting free.
